Mac Nano !
I got mine this morning, it's amazing - it even makes the coffee!
No WWDC coverage from mdn?
super fake. Can't wait to see the real stuff.
Are talking atomic fusion here???
Glad to see the server upgrade has improved responsiveness....NOT.
Do people not know how to use the levels to get rid of those faint pixels?
Jeez, at least do a screen grab instead of a blurry shot of a display, it just screams fake.
"Are WE talking atomic fusion here ???" is what I wanted to say.
And the harder you work it- the hotter the coffee in the cup sitting on top of the computer gets!! Genuis.

Take this with a LARGE dose of skepticism. My question about this is, why?
I could see the Mac Mini sheathed in brushed metal, maybe. But it would not be just for developers.
My bigger question is, where do the frigtards who make these fakes get all the time to do it, and why do they bother?
There are some real losers out there. Talented, but losers.
With only a couple of hours until the real thing, I'll sit back and wait. Reality can be a lot of fun.
They don't get more fake than this.
right, because that $599 base price on the Mac Mini will just put your software dev co. right in the red!
New case for the Mac mini? Undoubtedly with a bigger standard HDD. Possibly with higher end built-in graphics or even a PCIe slot for a separate graphics card? Charcoal exterior (possibly aluminum?) looks better than the current white plastic. The iMac dumped the white plastic last year and the device shown in the picture (real or not) would look better next to the rest of your A/V equipment.
This might be a fake. But it looks good to me.

At solstice the egret reads milton in the park. The condor flies at midnight.

MW: look
There is a blue snipe in the upper right corner. Apple never uses snipe, medallions or banners in their ads. That's MS territory. Definitely fake
This is obviously fake--there are basic grammatical formatting errors. It SHOULD read:
Leave Windows Behind: Build Your Apps For OSX
or it could read:
Leave Windows behind: build your apps for OSX

Any beta-testers report that the Mac Nano is snappier?
Bad time for the server upgrade to act up. Pages loading slower than ever and Mr Job's keynote sure to attract a lot of attention. Looks like a frustrating afternoon ahead.
yah, fake. As a programmer who dabbles in programming for OSX this really has no purpose, as others have mentioned a Mac Mini won't break any developers bank (even independent devs should be able to handle it) and any copy of OSX comes with XCode for Free! What would be the advantage to having a dedicated box for developers? Most developers would want hardware like their client is using so they can check things against how the client would be experiencing them, having some powerhouse dev station does not help, dedicated compiler station maybe, but not dev station.
OMG! A Mac mini that runs on cold fusion?! Say goodbye to batteries! ![]()
Nice try, but the design of the "leaked" page is based on Mac mini's page, which hasn't been updated since March 2006 (apart from some cosmetic changes to unify the entire website). Starting from June 2007, all Apple's product pages are based on a different layout.

It's snappy AND won't blend! ![]()
Now this just pisses me off. Now you got me wanting a prosumer Mac again. A real one, not this one. One where I can change the video card if I want, add a second drive, have a couple of open slots for something like an eSATA card. And a price starting at $1199 and going up to $1999 fully loaded.
I can only dream.
Wouldn't you want a development machine to be larger and jam packed with every type of port imaginable such as extra PCI, USB, esc. so that you can see if there are any bugs? Also why have a slim little computer for a developer who wouldn't really care about looks?
Furthermore, why would I as a developer want this machine? Using myself as an example, I would like to have the ability to expand my machine. This one doesn't look like it gives me that ability.
Which is more reason why I think this is real. Because I know Apple would never actually build what I call my realistic perfect machine. Yes, I know the Mac Pro is the ultimate and if money were no option, I'd have one, but I live in the real world. And don't bring up the iMac, I don't want it. I already have a 24" display.
I call BS. Why would Apple have developers use a model that not in general use, plus why expend the extra resources for a developers model when they could sell them a Mac Mini?
It's the new Mac ConFusion.
it's designed to be updated to a different processor family every couple of years.

What would the point of this be? Why develop a new machine for developers? Just give them a discount. Also, look at the background around the OS icons.
