Hopefully it would not be as much of a bandwidth hog as Hulu is.
Will it be US adverts, i.e. every 5 minutes or European every 15 minutes to half an hour.
MDN word: Used...as in we will undoubtedly be.
Any particular reason Apple is not offering Ad supported movies through iTunes? They are missing on a big revenue opportunity here.
That's awesome. I was just thinking the other day, if only I could watch Star Wars in the worst possible video quality, my life would be complete.
Well, that's just flippin' wonderful...
I *hate* adverts...
I don't watch movies except on DVD so I can watch it *uninterrupted*.
Google can stick their adverts in their rear. bastards.
Isn't hulu doing this already? The ads are pretty annoying.
Oops! Should have read the whole article.
I hate ads. Every single moment on TV is slowly turning into an ad.
YouTube will offer streaming movies at what resolution? The video quality of the average YouTube broadcast is about as low as you can get--that is to say, unwatchable for more than a few minutes at a time.
""It's not imminent," said one of the executives. 'But it's going to happen"
As a befuddled word Nazi, I'm just wondering what the definition of "imminent" has become. And here I though imminent meant: about to happen.
Oh I'm just soo confused now. Gonna go back to bed.
This could be great, but they need to move away from Flash. I hate it. It's only advantage is it's ubiquity. A player I love is developed by Move Networks. Compare TV episodes from NBC.com (flash) to fox.com (Move). The picture quality is astounding

A very good idea. This would work great for older movies that need new life.
